He was a longtime resident of Atoka, Oklahoma. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany for 3 years. He married his wife Linda Gale (Jack) Settlemires on September 28, 1990 in Atoka, Oklahoma.
Bob enjoyed gospel and bluegrass music and was even a part of a bluegrass band.
He was preceded in death by his parents Evelyn (Wills) and Robert Lee Settlemires; and brother Mike Settlemires.
Survivors include his loving wife, of 34 years, Linda Gale (Jack) Settlemires of the home; sisters Sharon Lang of Atoka, Oklahoma, Dorothy Redden of Kenefic, Oklahoma, Trudy Smith of Tyler, Texas; daughter Tracy Lee Settlemires-Allen of Claremore, Oklahoma; stepdaughters Shelly Free of Wister, Oklahoma, Shannon Herring of Atoka, Oklahoma; step grandchildren Stone, Stetson, Shelby, Slatey Jo, Shooter as well as other extended family and friends.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Tushka Cemetery in Tushka, Oklahoma with Bro. Steve Henry officiating.
