Bobbie Jewell Howell Steenerson, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness. Bobbie was born in Hiawassee, Georgia to the late Oscar and Bernice (Jones) Howell on July 31, 1950. She was a member of McConnell Memorial Baptist Church. Bobbie better known as "Ms. Bobbie" worked at the Towns County Headstart for many years and absolutely loved the children there. Having no children of her own she often spent time with her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed working in her yard and was an avid reader.
Bobbie is preceded in death by her above-mentioned parents; husband, Arne "Yome" Steenerson, brothers Lamar Howell, Hugh Howell and Loy Howell; sister Hazel Mull. She leaves behind sister Audrey Steenerson; nieces and nephews Susanne Mull, Patty Mull Burns, Kim Anderson, Kay Chisel, Cindy Howell, Greg Howell, Misty Howell, Kevin Howell; great nieces and nephews, Heather Cassidy, Aaron Anderson, Cory Chisel, Rhodes Chisel, Tara Chisel Pohlkotte, Owen Pohlkotte, Eva Pohlkotte and special friend Susan Colvard.
Memorial Service: Saturday, January 04, 2025 at Banister-Cooper Funeral Home at 2:00PM

Banister-Cooper is in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Steenerson.
