Bobbie Jean Myers, age 75, of Vancleave, passed away peacefully in her home on December 10, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her mother Valley Sug Bang; her loving husband, James Myers; brother, Boo Boo Bang; and aunt, Patty Williams. She is survived by her daughters, Tonya Stringer (Jimmy) and Alisha Allgood (David); her baby, Paul Myers (Shelly); brothers, Melvin Ely (Trish) and Ray Bang; sister, Peggy Rudd (Duane); and special sister-in-law, Georgia Ann Bang; daughter-in-law Shelly Myers, who the family thanks for their caring love, help and support during Bobbie’s final years. She also leaves behind many special aunts; uncles; cousins; nephews; nieces; 8 grandchildren, Dustin, James (Carmen), Dylan (Makala), Cody, Autum (Robert), Katelyn, John John, Jadin (Natalie) and Dominick; 9 great-grandchildren, Ryder James, River James, Baylor Riggs, Carson James, Caston, Allie Grace, Nola Grace, and Waiverley Jean who carries on her great maw-maws name and Callie one the way.
A lifelong resident of Vancleave, MS, Mrs. Bobbie was married the love of her life, James Myers, for 45 years. She owned and operated a janitorial company for Coastal Family for 30 years. She loved shopping, going out with her friends, fishing and crabbing, attending events and parades, watching soap operas and special casino trips for crab legs with Paul and Shelly (weekly) and shopping and lunch dates with Alisha and special conversations with Tonya over the phone. Bobbie’s presence will be carried for generations to come, and she will be greatly missed every single day.
The family invites relatives and friends to honor and celebrate their Moma’s life on Monday, December 15, 2025 at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home at 4901 Jim Ramsey Road, Vancleave, MS from 10:00am to 11:00am with services immediately following at 11:00am. Interment will be Vancleave Holiness Church. Brother Billy Wilson will be presiding over the service
