Bobbie "Jeanne" Rada, 86, of
Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025. Born on October 31, 1938, in Adairville, Kentucky, Jeanne was the beloved daughter of Eugene and Irma (Pike) Violette.
Jeanne shared a remarkable life with her husband of 70 years, William "Bill" Rada. Together they built a loving family and created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and enduring traditions. She was the proud mother of three children: Candace "Candy" Crain, Steven "Steve" Rada, and Kelly Knight. Her legacy continues through her seven grandchildren-Nicholas Rada, Zachary Thomas, Jaimie Rada-Smith, Robert Thomas, Dakota Sartain, Karlie Sartain, and Brady Sartain-and eight great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.
Faith was a cornerstone of Jeanne's life. A devoted member of Dunbar Cave Baptist Church in Clarksville, she actively participated in church ministries and often lifted her voice in song during services. Her love for hymns reflected the deep spiritual foundation that guided her throughout her life.
Jeanne's devotion to her family was unwavering. She found great joy in caring for those she loved and took special pride in preparing meals that became cherished family traditions. Her fried crappie, pot roast, and dumplings were legendary among those who gathered at her table, and each holiday season was made sweeter by her lovingly baked Christmas cookies.
In earlier years, Jeanne enjoyed bowling and remained active in the sport for many seasons. Whether at the lanes or in the kitchen, she approached everything with dedication and heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents but leaves behind a legacy rooted in love, faith, and family-a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
May Jeanne's memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
