Bobbie was born June 26, 1943, in Knoxville, TN, the daughter of late Milton Lamar Formby and Sallie Geneva (Oaks) Formby. She was an office manager for Polar Temp where she made many friends until she retired. Her and her late husband Glen were avid Nascar fans for many years. They owned a small garage where many friends would gather and spend time watching races, throwing darts and playing pool.
Bobbie was also an avid book reader. She loved all types of novels and cook books. She was a big animal lover but her favorite animal was cats.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband Glen Yearout of more than 30 years, son Terry Rucker, twin sons, James and Richard Rucker, mother, Sallie, "Nanny" Malone, father, Milton, "Granddaddy" Formby.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Rucker Hoard and husband Kelly; granddaughter, Olivia Hoard; Special cousin, Teresa Vickery and husband Wade; close friends, Erika, Annette, Rhonda, Patti and Byron. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Trigonia Cemetery for graveside services and interment.
