Bobby G Alford 90 of Marion, Arkansas, passed away Sunday June 08, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on September 10, 1934, to Oscar and Bertha Alford. He lived in Marion most of his life after retiring from the Arkansas Highway Department. Mr. Alford is preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years Margie Alford, one son Billy Alford, one son-in-law James Cook, and one daughter-in-law Lahoma Alford. Mr. Alford is survived by five daughters Elizabeth (Frank) House of Marion, Arkansas, Karen Cook of Blytheville, Arkansas, Carla (Greg) Pennington of Marion, Arkansas, Debbie Farrow of Marion, Arkansas, and Sharon Rechel of Marion, Arkansas; two sons John Alford of Marion, Arkansas, and Robert (Sandra) Alford of Marion, Arkansas; one half brother Jimmy Smith of Cabot, Arkansas; one grandson Bobby (Stephanie) Pennington whom he raised. And a host of grandkids, great grandkids, and great great grandkids. Visitation for Mr. Alford will be on Monday June 09, 2025, at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm and graveside service will be Tuesday June 10, 2025, at 10:00 am Hughes Cemetery in Forrest, Arkansas with Author Trevino will be officially the service. Morgan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
