Bobby hired me into my very first engineering job, an opportunity that shaped the course of my career and for which I will always be grateful. As a young engineer, I learned so much from his guidance, steady leadership, and practical wisdom. He was a true class act and a gifted communicator who took time to invest in people.
One detail that always stuck with me was his willingness to commute by motorcycle all the way to Prunedale; no small distance from Sunnyvale, simply because it made practical sense to him. That said a lot about Bobby: independent, resourceful, and quietly tough. A real "Okie from Muskogee" thriving in the engineering world.
Bobby understood both the people side and the politics of a large organization, and he navigated it all with integrity and good humor. I still reflect on his example often. He had a lasting impact on my life and career, and I´m forever thankful to have known him. He raised two wonderful daughters and leaves behind a meaningful legacy. My sincere condolences to his family as you continue to honor his life.
Peace,
Timothy

Dear Allison and Elizabeth,
I was very sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. Dave Rezin told me on Wednesday.
I know that you have many fond and wonderful memories of times spent with him growing up and traveling together.
I hope these memories can help you overcome your grief.
Sincerely,
Craig Peterson
