Bobby Bricen Blalock

Bobby Bricen Blalock, age 70, stepped from this life into eternity to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 25, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Johnnie Blalock; mother-in-law, Doris Warden; father-in-law, L. V. Hayes; brothers-in law, Van Hall and Jon Lauderdale; and nephew, Jason Waldrop. Bricen is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jane Blalock; son, Joshua (Alana) Blalock; brother, Bruce (Brenda) Blalock; sister, Debra Hall; sisters-in law, Amelia (Charlie) Hunt, Jerri Ann (Bobby) Tankersley and Denise Lauderdale; as well as eight grandchildren: Adrienne, Cameron (Morgan), Kalie, Emma Grace (Hunter), Ella, Reagan, Madelyn (Tyler) and Whitlee; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and his loved side-kick dog, Tuff.

The Blalock family would like to extend a special thanks to Amber Ship and Hilda Warden for all the specialized care, patience, and love shown by them to Bricen during the last three months of his life.

Bricen retired from AT&T after 30 years of service and began working in construction. He was full of life and was always laughing and cracking jokes. He loved to tell his grandchildren wild bedtime stories. He would scare them with tales about the Sipsey creature and then hide and growl just to hear them squeal, giggle and make a run for the house. He will be greatly missed by his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Restoration Christian Fellowship, 3414 Skyline Drive, Warrior, Alabama on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
