Bobby Brimm

Bobby Joel "Bob Brimm, Sr., 86, of East Ridge, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025. Born in Dyersburg, he lived most his life in the Chattanooga area. He served as a police officer with East Ridge Police Department. Bob retired from Olan Mill and also worked with Lab Corp. He enjoyed wood working, gardening and planting flowers. Bob came from a family of musicians and he could play about any string instrument. He was preceded in death by his parents, Odell and Mary Brimm; brothers, Everett Brimm and Ewell Brimm and sister, Frances Brimm.
Survivors are his wife and companion, Gail Brimm; sons, Mark Brimm (Belinda) and Bobby Joel Brimm, II (Gerrie); daughter, Karen Brimm Latham (Kenneth); step children, Scottie Swafford (April) and Renee Swafford; sisters, June Brimm Lay (Gibbey) and Jane Brimm Manns (Tom); several grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great grandson, nieces, nephew and extended family.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. There will not be a service.
