On Tuesday May 31, 2022, God's Angels ushered Mr. Bobby Burgess to a place not made by man; For God to give him his wings.

Mr. Bobby Burgess the son of the Late Willie J. Burgess & Bertie Mae Staggers-Burgess, born on March 23, 1959.

Mr. Bobby Burgess known to Family & Friends as "Bob Steel". Bobby received his education in Williamsburg County public school. Where he loved sports and played on the Football & Basketball team. He graduated from Cades- Hebron High School Class of 1980.

At an early age Mr. Bobby joined the Family church Hickory Grove A.M.E. Bobby was an employee at Carter Mill Manufacturing in Lake City for 21 years. Bobby enjoyed riding his bike, cooking and being with Family & Friends. To know Bobby was to Love him, he will truly be missed.

He was preceded in death by four brothers: Mr. Sp.4 Carl Burgess, Mr. Larry Burgess, Mr. Barry Burgess and Mr. Willie D. Burgess and one sister Ms. Vickie Burgess-Alford.

Loved ones left to Cherish & Carry on his Memories; A Loving son Mr. Bobby C. Burgess Jr. of Lake City, S.C.; four sisters: Caregiver Ms. Fancy (Troy Nelson) Burgess, Ms. Alberteen (Larry Julious) Burgess, Ms. Jerleen Burgess all of Lake City, S.C. and his twin sister Mrs. Bobbie Jean(Late Willie) Muldow of Orlando, F.L. four brothers; Mr. Louis (Kim) Burgess, Mr. Victor Burgess both of Lake City, S.C., Mr. Billy (Shelia) Burgess of Dalzell, S.C., and Mr. Elder Keith (Theresa) Burgess of Fort Lauderdale, F.L.; four aunts: Mrs. Clara Pringle of Sumter, S.C., Mrs. Lola M. Zimmerman of Charlotte, N.C., Ms. Rosa Staggers and Ms. Bobbie Jean both of Jersey City, N.J.; two Very- special nieces: Ms. Teena Burgess and Ms. Jessica McDonald both of Lake City, S.C.; a special Great nephew Mr. Cameron Powell of Lake City, S.C.; two special cousin Ms. Josephine McFadden of Lake City, S.C. and Mrs. Cerina (Terry) Cameron of Camerontown, S.C. one Faithful & dedicated friend Mr. Isaac Collins of Lake City, S.C.. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
