Bobby Cagle Obituary
Bob was born in Greeneville, TN on November 9, 1929, the son of the late Otis Cagle and Mae Cagle. His childhood in Greenville instilled a long passion for his church and music. Bob and Betty met at the University of Tennessee and bonded over their love of Christ, education and family. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed boating, fishing and singing.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife Betty J. Cagle of 64 years and his older brother. O.D. Cagle, Jr.
He leaves behind his children, Judy and Randy Clendening; James and Sabrina Cagle and Mike and Brandy Cagle; grandchildren, Kevin Clendening, Bryan Clendening, Krista Cagle and Michael Cozart.
A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held 3:00 PM Sunday March 16, 2025, at Burroughs Funeral Home in Murrells Inlet. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the time of service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Bob was a wonderful neighbor of 26 years in Salters Cove. Will always remember his warm smile snd calm demeanor. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Sending our heartfelt prayers and love. May God bless you with his comfort and strength knowing Uncle Bob is now with him and those who´ve gone to heaven before him. I imagine the reunion with Aunt Betty Jean was very special. Love to all.

Uncle Bob was a wonderful man, husband, father, friend and always cared for his family. I remember the first time I met him&all Bobby's Aunt's & Uncle's. We went to Tennessee for our honeymoon in Gatlinburg and then to Maryville to see Peggy and Ray, Bobby's brother and sister then his aunts and uncles who surprised us with a small wedding reception. I was a little nervous but didn't need to be. The "Simberly's" loved me from day one and I grew to love each and every one of Bobby's family members! Uncle Bob will be missed but knowing he is a Christian we'll see him again. Absent from the body present with The Lord, amen
