Bobby Joe Campbell, 71, resident of Ninety Six, devoted husband of Joyce Smith Campbell passed away Monday, July 28 at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Greenwood, he was the son of Landon Lee and Bessie Mae Campbell. A graduate of Edgewood High School, Bobby Joe served our country with honor in the US Navy. A long-time employee of Eaton, Bobby Joe retired after more than twelve years of service in their electrical supply area. He was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to his loving wife Joyce, Bobby Joe is survived by his son Kentrell Williams (Zee Zee) of Columbia; daughters Natasha Silynn Campbell of Fort Mill, Frances Adams of Greenwood; and Anita Williams Louden (Laboris) of Columbia; bonus children Anita Glasco of Atlanta, Marsha Glasco of Charleston, Tito Glasco of Atlanta; Godly bonus children Kelsey Smith (Vonna) of Greenwood, Alicia Chapman (Stanley) of Huntsville, AL, Muffy Carroll of Greenwood, Ashley Carroll of Bessemer AL and son-in-law Percy Reidout of Greenwood. In addition, he is survived by brothers Bobby James Campbell (Gloria),Leroy Campbell (Janice), and Dr. Landon B. Lee (Tanita); sisters Lorraine Boyd, Delories Elder (Anthony), Kimery A. McNease (Stanley), and Evetta D. Partlow; brother-in laws Johnny Smith and Mike Smith (Wanda); and special aunt Grace Hawkins. He is also leaves behind more than twenty-five grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews. Bobby Joe was preceded in death by his Godly bonus daughter Phedra Reidout and sister Willie Jo Lagrone.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Blyth Funeral Home with burial to follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Thursday evening at Blyth from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm.
