Bobby (Hoss) Christie was born October 8, 1970, in Tahlequah, OK. Son of Robert and Coretta Christie and departed this life to be with our lord on March 13, 2024, in Tahlequah, OK, at the age of 53 years, 5 months, and 5 days.
Hoss was the biggest OU fan, he loved watching OU football. Hoss was an all-around guy; he was someone that you could get lost in a conversation. If Hoss gave you crap, then he would consider you as a friend. He liked to fish, but wouldn’t catch anything, but still went, those late nights at the city park with his best friend Butch, who was more like a brother to Hoss. He also loved working on lawn mowers with his son Marvin. You could catch Hoss at actions, pilfering through things. He also liked going to chicken fights. Hoss loved being around family and friends, always looking to have a good time.
Hoss has 3 children, Cameron and Dalton Christie with first marriage, and he has Marvin Ballard with wife/best friend Tess. Hoss also has 4 wonderful grandchildren, Blaze and Everly Christie, Ace and Eliza Ballard. Hoss has a sister Rhonda Christie of Stilwell, OK, and brother Munk Christie of Stilwell, OK and special friend/brother Carl (Butch) Phillips and wife Shannon of Stilwell, OK.
Hoss is preceded in death by his father Robert Christie, and his nephew Rodrick Christie. Hoss is survived by his sons, Cameron Christie of Stilwell, OK, Dalton Christie of Stilwell, OK, Marvin Ballard and companion Shanda of Stilwell, OK, 4 grandchildren Blaze and Everly Christie of Stilwell, OK, Ace and Eliza Ballard of Stilwell, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends and family survive him.
