Bobby Gene Crawford, 76, born on November 25, 1948, in Vardaman, Calhoun County, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo Mississippi. He was a dedicated farmer who embraced the land and the rhythms of nature throughout his life. In addition his role as a farmer, Bobby was a skilled musician, celebrated for his talent as an organist. His love for music deeply enriched the lives of those around him, reflecting his joyful spirit and passion for sharing his gift.
Bobby is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Crawford, 3 sons, Bobby Crawford, Solomon Gordon, and Brandon McKinley, his cherished 5 daughters: Kesha Taylor, Pranati Crawford Jones, Chastity Cousins, Whitley Hill, and Sasha Little. Each of them carries forward the legacy of love and dedication that Bobby instilled in his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jenie Crawford, and his mother, Lorene Dobbs. Their memories will forever remain in the hearts of his family.
The community is invited to celebrate Bobby's life during the visitation scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life service beginning at 12:00 PM. Both services will be held at the Christian Fellowship Branch of The Vine Church, located at 123 County Road 62, Houston, MS 38851.
Bobby Gene Crawford touched the lives of many, and he will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his musical talents, and his commitment to his work as a farmer and owner of Crawford Logging Company. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
