Publish in a newspaper
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday, November 7, 2025 at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Culpepper Funeral Home. Burial will be in McClain Cemetery in Newport. Bro. Jerry Meggs will officiate.
Bobby Ray is survived by his sons Bobby Ray "BJ" Edwards, Jr. (Carlee), Robert Edwards (Monica), and Noel Ray Edwards, daughters Betty Wells (Scott) and Khristy Krauzyk (Kyle), brothers William Edwards, Hugh Lee Edwards, James Edwards, and Jimmy Edwards, sisters Lola McDaniel and Carolyn Moudy, 15 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren with one on the way.
Bobby Ray was the caretaker for Attala Rod and Gun Club. He was active in local sports and had coached at Winona Christian School and East Holmes Academy.
Bobby Ray was preceded in death by his parents Emmitt Ray and Betty Jean Moore Edwards, sister Janice Bryant, brother George Edwards, daughter Amy Edwards and granddaughter Taylor Daniels.
