Mr. Robert Joe "Bobby" Evans, age 78 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born on November 18, 1944 in Hartwell to the late Joe H. Evans and Elizabeth Vickery Evans Stovall. He was retired from RACF Security for the State of Georgia and did computer security. He was a member of Goldmine Church of God for 53 years, Cattleman's Association, 4-H and competed in Sheep herding competitions for a number of years with his Border Collies.
Left to cherish his memories are; his wife, Betty Parham Evans, sons, Matthew Scott (Lisa) Evans and Robert Kevin (Lacey) Evans, siblings, Mark Evans and Phyllis Johnson, grandchildren, Alex, Braydon, Hudson, Bronson, Hillary, Shea, Erica and Maddie and great-grandchildren, Jaylen, Camber and Callum, and he loved his dog Willow. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Kendall Evans.
Funeral services celebrating Bobby's life will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Two o'clock from Goldmine Church of God with Rev. Phillip Patterson, Rev. Gary Thompson and Mrs. Faye Morris officiating. The body is at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends Tuesday, December 20, 2022 6-8 p.m.
The family will be at the home, 85 Allen Court in Hartwell.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
