Bobby Giolitto Obituary
Bob was born in Coalburg, West Virginia on January 23, 1941 to the late Sylvester and Beulah (Tanner) Giolitto. He honorably served in the United States Army in Special Forces until 1965. Bob retired from American General after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Hadi Shrine, Constellation Lodge No. 748 and the No-Ruz Grotto. Bob enjoyed getting his steps in by taking long walks and also enjoyed watching all kinds of sports. He always put others first and acted unselfishly by donating to local organizations and providing Meals on Wheels for 15 years. His greatest joy came from being a grandpa. Bob will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, grandpa and friend.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Joyce (Noffsinger) Giolitto of Evansville, IN; son, Sean Giolitto (Chris) of Evansville, IN; sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Zinn of Evansville, IN, and Jean Rickard of Evansville, IN; brother, James "Jim" Giolitto (MaryLee) of Newburgh, IN; grandson, Nolan; many nieces and nephews; and "The Group".
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and by his siblings, Ina Seibert and Edward "Ed" Giolitto.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery where the Retired Veterans Memorial Club will conduct military honors.
Friends may visit from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Browning Funeral Home where there will be a Masonic Service held at 7:00 pm. Friends may also visit from 9:00 am until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hadi Shrine, 6 Walnut St., Evansville, IN 47708 or Meals on Wheels, 3700 Bellemeade Ave., Suite 113, Evansville, IN 47714 or to the Wartime Museum, 7503 Petersburg Rd., Evansville, IN 47725.

I had the pleasure of meeting and caring for Bob at the podiatry department at Deaconess Clinic. I enjoyed talking to him about his lifelong stories and especially about his participation with the Heidi Shriners. He was truly a gentleman.
