Bobby Joe Goforth, 87, of Cullman, AL, formerly of Jacksonville, AR, passed from his earthly home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, September 14, 2023.  He was born to William and Clara Goforth in England, AR on October 1, 1935. Bob was retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant after 22 years and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 20 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Billy, Lois, Myrtle and Barbara. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lenora Ann Bryan Goforth; two daughters, Kathryn Saffle Goforth of McRae, AR, and Bobbie (Terry) Holland of Jacksonville, AR, and one son Brian (Debbie) Goforth of Cullman, AL.

He is also survived by ten grandchildren, Jonathan (Lacey) Mallonee, Brandi (Quinton) Adams, Lauren (Daniel) Malm, Michael (Holly) Holland, Christopher (Chaley) Holland, Eddie Mitchell, Amanda Carroll, Brandi (Brandon) Hasley, Christina (Seth) Dees, and April (Johannes) Bachhuber; twelve great-grandchildren, Joshua and Brianna Mallonee, Benjamin and Beckett Malm, Wes and Claire Holland, Tenley Holland, Bryce Trejo, Dixie Cricket Williams, Emmalyn and Tucker Hasley, and Ben Bachhuber; one sister, Reba (Roy) Summerlin, one brother, Gary Goforth, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, September 18, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Graveside Service with full Military Honors will be Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
