Bobby Gordon Obituary
Bobby was born August 1, 1962, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Hansel Gordon Sr. and Bessie Gordon, the sixth child in their loving union. He shared his childhood with siblings Hansel Jr., Donnie, William, and LaVette, and his early years were spent at Sadler Elementary School and Muskogee High School, where he graduated with the Class of 1983.
Work became a central part of his story. Bobby began a long and dedicated career with the Social Security Administration in Muskogee, Oklahoma, serving the community with steadfast commitment and care.
Bobby Ray Gordon, in his 63rd year, passed away on January 6, 2026, in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his son, Bobby Gordon Jr.; his siblings, Hansel Jr., Donnie, William, and LaVette; his best friends, Steven Titsworth and John Murphy; his sister-in-law, Marchella Berry; Kim Gordon; Lois Clements; Elissa Vann; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Bobby’s quiet strength, loyalty, and kindness touched many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The Service of Memory for Bobby will take on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at the Eleventh Hour in The People's Chapel of Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors Inc., of Muskogee.
