Bobby Allen Hale, Sr.

Mr. Bobby Allen Hale, Sr of Rockvale, TN, died Sunday, May 11, 2025. Born in Nashville, TN, Bobby was a son of the late Vernon Hale and Shirley O’Donnell and adopted parents, Doug and Nancy Graham. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Bubba Graham.

Bobby was a heavy equipment mechanic for Republican Services. In his spare time he loved hunting, fishing and racing. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

Survived by his wife of 49 years, Dwanna Hale of Rockvale, TN; 2 daughters, Shelly Underwood and Melissa Lemons of Rockvale, TN; a son, Bobby Hale, Jr. of Rockvale, TN; 3 sisters, Tammy Mooneyham of Unionville, TN, Debra Pruitt of Eagleville, TN, Linda (Bobby) Meadows of Mt. Juliet, TN; 3 brothers, William “T-Bird” Hale of Rockvale, TN, Dale Hale of Brush Creek, TN, Toney Hale of Unionville, TN; 6 grandchildren, Jonathan Waggoner, Kelsie Bowling, Chris Hale, Chelsea Hale, Ashlee Underwood and Nathan Lemons; 4 great-grandchildren, Avery Hale, Bailee Bowling, Walker Bowling and River Lemons; a nephew, Bobby “Hotrod” Bobby Meadows, Jr.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 4pm – 8pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be Friday at 1:30pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Simpson Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bobby Hale, Jr, Jonathan Waggoner, Chris Hale, Quentin Underwood, John Bowling, “Hotrod”, Nathan Lemons. Honorary Pallbearer is Bobby Meadows, Sr.

Memorial Donations may be made to Dwanna Hale for funeral expenses.
