Bobby Lee Howell

Athens - Bobby Lee Howell passed away peacefully at his Athens Georgia home on December 23, 2025. Born in Commerce, Ga. on August 22, 1939 he was the son of the late Ed and Lily Howell. Bobby was a respected and successful businessman in Athens, Ga. for 50 years. His natural charm, humor and genuine love of people allowed him to excel in many areas of business. His love of family made him a cherished son, brother, husband, father grandfather and great grandfather. "Bobby was preceded in death by a sisters, Doris Linkous, Judy Nations and Betty Floyd, brothers Donald Howell and Dillard Howell. He is survived by his two sons, Leslie Howell and Mark Howell. Four grandchildren, Justin Howell (Katie) Joshua Howell, Jarred Howell and Joely Howell. Eight Great Grandchildren, Jayton Howell, Ava Howell, Harper Howell, Jaxon Howell, Elijah Howell and Ellawyn Howell, Joseph Colon and Timothy Blevins, sisters Jeanette Roberts (Earl) Geneva Floyd (Tim), Barbara Coker, Brothers Buford Howell (Kim) Eddie Howell, Freddie Howell (Teresa) and Waymon Howell. Funeral Services Sunday at 3 PM from the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with burial in the Harmony Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1 PM until the funeral hour
