Bobby Ray Jackson

Bobby Ray Jackson, 77, passed away Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008. Funeral: 3 p.m. Tuesday, Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel, 5725 Colleyville Blvd. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: Noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Bobby Ray was a loving, generous, supportive and thankful father who was always there. He was a longtime resident of Bedford, and was retired after 44 years of service with TXU Electric. Bobby Ray was an avid fisherman and a trophy-winning pool player. He also had an all-star football career, and was known as "Ray Boy" Jackson in those days. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gina Jackson. Survivors: daughters, Cynthia Coomer of Springtown and Carol Morris of Santa Fe, N.M.; son, Steven Ray Jackson of Christ Church, New Zealand; brother, Billy Jackson; grandchildren, Heather, Ian, Carrie, Sarah and Ashley, and 3 great-grandchildren.
