Bobby Johnson Obituary
Bobby Johnson was born on March 21, 1939, in Mississippi to Ira and Olar Faulkner Johnson. He lived a full and meaningful life rooted in family, dedication, and quiet strength.
In the 1960s, Bobby united in marriage with the love of his life, Betty Robinson. From this union, five children were born, and together they built a strong and loving family.
Bobby was a hardworking man who proudly served as a driver for the City of Seaside, California. Outside of work, he had a passion for staying active and especially enjoyed lifting weights.
Bobby peacefully departed this life on March 26, 2026.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Betty Johnson; his children, Anthony, Freddie (Jamie), Bobby Jr., and Paula. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Sonja, who passed in 1989. Bobby also leaves behind nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of Seaside, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Olar Johnson; his brothers, Dudley (Lou), Edgar Lee (Sharene), Enorch, and Larry (Mary); and his sisters, Juanita Fantroy (Earl) and Elnora Watson (Claude).
Bobby is survived by his sisters, Roxie Johnson Gaitan (Sonny) and Marie Johnson of Kansas City, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will continue to honor his legacy.
Bobby will be remembered for his strength, his dedication to his family, and the steady presence he brought to those around him.
