Bobby Ray Jones

Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Ray Jones, 77, of Monroe LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 17, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe with Rev. Rick McAdams officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Jones was born on August 27, 1947, in Monroe, LA, and passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on May 13, 2025. He retired as a Supervisor at ABC Technologies of Tennessee. He had multiple achievements along with 25 years plus at Louisiana Industries. His focus in life was work and taking care of his family.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Sara Jones; wife, Alice Jones; son, Robert Jones; three brothers, James, Richard and Donald; two sisters, Diane and Ethel; and a grandson, John Edward Ray Buffington.

Survivors include his daughter Thereasa Putman and husband Robert; grandchildren, Alisha Champion, Karen Sasser, and Katelynn Jones; brothers, Billy, Johnny, Eugene, Ricky, and Danny; sister, Betty; sister-in-law, Hortense Jones; fifteen great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
