Bobby Gerald Kincaid, Jr., was born in a cinderblock house and put in a drawer for a bed as a baby. How God blessed his life coming from a poor background to be such a strong man of God.
His beginning was in Beaver, West Virginia, until he was 6 years old, when his mom packed up him, his sister, Brenda, and brother, Sammy and moved to Jacksonville, Florida. It was there as a teenager that Bob gave his life to the Lord. After this, he joined the Air Force to see the world and moved to Texas and then the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. It was there he courted and married Rebecca Smoot.
After serving in the Air Force, he went to programming school and started his career in computers. He and Rebecca had 3 boys right away. After being married for 10 years, they started a ministry in Mt. Crawford, Virginia, working with addicts and troubled young people. They ran their ministry with help from his in-laws, Irma and Charles Smoot. After 2 years, Bob realized he needed more training, so he went to Liberty Bible College, in Pensacola, Florida. God added another boy to the clan after moving. Bob was busy with school, family and work but was happy in the Lord. After Bible College, they sought the Lord for direction and He said "Raise your 4 boys to be strong men of God". They did with many bumps in the road.
Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, servant and employee. He gave with excellence everything he put his hands to. The family has grown from 4 boys to 4 beautiful daughters-in-law, 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren with one on the way. God has been good to them blessing richly.
Bob was a quiet server never wanting to be noticed but behind the scenes always busy with the Lord's business. Soft spoken but wise in the Lord. A good friend to all. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Lyons Kincaid; father, Bobby Gerald Kincaid Sr.; son, Williams James Kincaid (Billy), Sr.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Rebecca S. Kincaid; sons, Robert Gerald (Rebecca M) Kincaid, III, Jonathan Scott (Brentnie) Kincaid, David Joel (Tara) Kincaid; daughter in law, Sherrl Kincaid; sister, Brenda Suttle; brother, Sammy Kincaid; grandchildren, Ashley Kincaid, Sarah (Jordan) Fonville, Rachel (Nick) Fisher, Robert Kincaid, Rebecca Kincaid, Katelyn (Jake) Herndon, Andrew Kincaid, Hurston (Colter) Sparks, Sutton (Nick) Greenway, Dylan Kincaid, Skylar Kincaid, Trinity Kincaid, William Kincaid, Jr.; great grandchildren, Jordan Fonville, Rollie Fonville, Niko Fonville, Emery Fisher, and Wyatt Fisher.

I owe a lot to Bobby. He was instrumental in me getting my first job after we relocated from Pennsylvania to Pensacola to attend Liberty Bible College. In fact, he was my first boss when I was hired by Potomac Research as a quality control clerk (glorified paper form pusher). Bob was a good friend. We shared many good times together in that office and God used it as proof that he would provide for my wife and I. It was a start that eventually saw me become a civil servant that spent 35 years doing computer work for the US Navy and rising to a GS-12. All because Bob had me write down my previous computer work on a piece of paper he put in front of me on my desk in a night class at LBC. Yes I owe a lot to Bob Kincaid and now he has gone on to his reward. Rest in peace my friend.
