Bobby Lee Mason was born July 27, 1939, in Watertown, Tennessee to Bobby Leroy Mason and Julia Bass Mason. He entered eternal rest on February 8, 2024.
Bobby was the eldest of 23 brothers and sisters. He was educated in the Smith County Public Schools, and worked many years as a truck driver until he retired. He owned several businesses to include Day & Night Express Trucking Company until his health began to fell. Bobby enjoyed listening to music, playing baseball, and hosting the Mason family reunions.He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Wanda Mason; five sisters: Sherly Ann Mason, Linda Lee Mason, Sally Mae Mason, Irene Mason, and Frankie Mason; five brothers: Walter Mason, Wille Vernon Mason, Charles Lee Mason, Larry Lee Mason, and Robert Lee Mason.
Bobby leaves to cherish his memories a devoted daughter, Deborah (Jasper) Plowden; siblings: Dicie Henderson, Mary Ann (William) Seay, Edna Johnson, Louella Bass, Louise Mason, Billy Lee Mason, Ricky Lee Mason, David Lee Timberlake, James Alexander, Roy Earl Mason, Louise Mason, Diane Mason, and Dorothy Wallington; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, and devoted nephew, Johnny Howse.
