Bobby Lee Meredith, 86, of Magnolia, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025. He was born on November 11, 1938, and lived a life full of love, family and faith.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, strong character, and unwavering love for his family. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather

Bobby was a retired farmer, an Army veteran and a Master Mason with the Shively-Lewis-Parkland Lodge No. 951.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gladstone and Elsie Meredith; a brother, Charles Meredith; two sisters, Margie Whitaker and Shirley Dunn.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rose Jones Meredith; three sons, Peter (Cherie) Schreiner of Jonesville, Rocky (Kimberly) Meredith of Magnolia and William Earl (Jennifer) Meredith of Bardstown; two daughters, Barbara Routt and Christal (Neal) Milliner all of Hodgenville and a sister, Wilma Meredith of Louisville; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

A Masonic service is at 7 pm Saturday, September 20, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia. Cremation will follow.

Family and friends are invited to gather in his honor from 1 to 7 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
