Bobby Jake Nutter

Bobby Jake Nutter, 94 of Dunlow, WV went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 28, 2025 at the Jordan Center in Louisa, KY. Funeral services were conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel by Brother George Nelson. Burial followed at Bill Perry Cemetery, Dunlow, WV. He was born January 18, 1931 in Summersville, WV, a son of the late Oscar and Pearl Amick Nutter. Bobby was retired from Maxium Development and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Bobby was also a member of the Jewel Lodge #140 in Crum, WV, but most importantly was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Haney Nutter; his daughter, Barbara Stroud; two sons, Reuben and Thomas Kirk; a granddaughter, Denise "Dee" Meddings; and three grandsons, Ruben "Skipper" Kirk, Bobby Kirk and Clarence Stroud. Survivors include a daughter, Frances "Frankie" Marcum of Dunlow, WV; a special son and caregiver, Bobby Meddings; a foster son, Mark Adkins of Florida; fifteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Visitation was one hour prior to services at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, WV.
