Bobby Lee Richardson took his finale ride July 30, 2024. He was born September 22, 1939 to Archie and Rose Richardson. Bob was known as husband, brother, grandfather and most importantly dad. He married the love of his life and partner in crime Marsha, on October 5, 1973.

Bob was born and raised here in Vernal. He grew up out in the boonies running wild, causing hate and discontent with his siblings and cousins.

Bob loved his family very much all the way up to the end.

Throughout his struggles in life Bob grew up to be someone many loved and cherished. His sarcasm was not for the weak, he loved to harass anyone and everyone. He loved to sit and tell his many stories of horseback riding, truck driving, throwing rocks, and how he met his wife Marsha. Unknown to some he could whip up some of the best oatmeal cookies and those will be greatly missed.

In Bobs final years he enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids watching them grow into the amazing adults and children they are today, he enjoyed the simple things and always kept everyone on their toes.

He is survived by his children, Randy (Laurie) Richardson, Craig (Tonya) Nielson, Jeff (Crystal) Nielson, Jimmie (Angela) Richardson, Edith Richardson, 19 grandchildren, and too many to count great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by the love of his life Marsha Richardson; his parents Archie and Rose Richardson; son Brian Nielson; sisters - Lorna Teal, Kayleen Olsen, Joyce Schano; brother Jay Archie Richardson and many others.

Funeral Services will be conducted August 3rd, 2024 at 10 AM at the Davis 4th Ward LDS Chapel (3990 S 1500 E) with viewings held Friday, from 6-8 pm and Saturday 1 hour prior to service, all at the Davis Chapel. Burial will be in the Jensen Cemetery next to his sweetheart.
