Bobby departed his life on May 8, 2023.
Bobby was raised in Anderson, SC. He was a graduate of Westside High School class of 1967. He later moved to Rochester, NY where he was employed with Eastman Kodak. He then moved back to Anderson, SC where he was employed with Owens Corning Fiberglass for over 30 years. He retired in 2015. He was married to the late Teresa Stowers-Rogers.
Bobby enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, taking them to the duck pond, and out for ice cream. He also loved talking and sitting with his brother, Johnny, discussing politics. He enjoyed spending time laughing and joking with the fellows at the clean up shop (the Johnson Detail Shop).
Bobby leaves to cherish sons, Scotty L. Gaines (Helena) of Anderson, SC, Rodriquez Gaines (Gerldine) of Lithia Springs, GA, and Jarvis Rogers (Tish) of Anderson, SC; daughters, Nakia McCants of Rochester, NY and April Rogers of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Lorenzo, Ashton, Nicklos, Kierra, King, Naeemah, NyRee, NyAsia, Gregory, Kristyn, and Kaiya; a brother, Johnny Rogers (Johnnie Mae) of Anderson, SC; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Stowers-Rogers, parents, Willie B. and Maggie Rogers, brother, Willie Buck Rogers and a granddaughter, Mary Kathrine Gaines.
Bobby will be truly missed.

Public viewing will be Friday, May 12, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at The Unity Mortuary of Anderson.
Funeral service for Mr. Rogers will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 1:00 pm at The Unity Mortuary of Anderson with interment to follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
The family is at 1007 Freedom Ridge, Anderson, SC 29624.
