Bobby Sharpe Obituary

Bobby D. Sharpe, 87, of North Huntingdon, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, at Transitions Health Care. He was born Jan. 1, 1938, in Gaston, SC, a son of the late W. A. and Callie Smith Sharpe. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by one brother, Sam Sharpe; and three sisters, Ethel Baughman, Gloria Mack, and Margie Smith. Prior to retirement, Bobby was employed as a union carpenter. He was an avid NASCAR fan and former drag racer and enjoyed trips to the casinos. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Luette Henry Sharpe; and sister, Barbara Watts. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 27, 2025, at JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025, at First United Presbyterian Church in Irwin. Please go directly to the church. Interment will be in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, followed by a luncheon at First Presbyterian Church, 617 Main St., Irwin. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Food Pantry at First United Presbyterian Church. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
