Bobby Thompson

Circleville Bobby Thompson, 90, of Circleville passed away on October 20, 2025. He was born on March 31, 1935 in Colcord, WV to Kester and Alma (Harris) Thompson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Leoda (Ferrell) Thompson and brothers Jack, Jeff and Bill Thompson. Bobby was an Army Veteran and an avid fisherman and mushroom hunter and loved his family. He retired from Georgia Pacific. Bobby is survived by his children Lisa (Mario) Aguirre, Bobby G. (Audra Kramer) Thompson II and Emily (Craig Estep) Thompson; grandchildren Daniel Handley, Savannah Thompson, Garion Leoda, Shelby Aguirre, Turtle Aguirre, Suzanne Thompson, Kester Thompson; great grandchildren Jaden, Abbigael, Daniel II, Waylon, Branson and Sybella; sister Betty Rich, brothers-in-law Carl Ferrell and Roger Daniels and by sister-in-law Vickey Hubbard. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 11-1.
