He is survived by his wife, Eloise Thompson; son, Darrell Thompson; daughters, Debra Still, Gail Washington, Taundra Purnell, and Bonnie Thompson; brother, Archie Thompson Jr.; sister, Delores Lee; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation, Dec. 5, 3-7 pm at Lawson; Service, Dec. 6, 11 am at Trinity Presbyterian.
