Bobby Joe Wiggins left this earth on Monday, March 13, 2023, and was welcomed into the arms of Jesus. Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Wiggins will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2023, in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Jackson and Bro. Brent McMinn officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery near Medina. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time.
Bobby was born on October 14, 1947, in Tiptonville, TN to Wanda Wiggins and the late Edmond (Pete) Wiggins. Bobby married the love of his life Judy (Long) on June 16, 1965. Bobby and Judy were married for 57 years and had four children, nine grandchildren, three great-grand children and one on the way. He worked for ICG Railroad for 37 years as a switchman, brakeman, and conductor. Bobby was an ordained deacon and member at First Baptist Church of Medina, Tennessee. His life was full of love, kindness, and generosity. His favorite hobbies were spending time with his family, working in his greenhouse, growing vegetables in his garden, and driving his tractor.
Bobby’s loving family includes his wife, Judy (Long) Wiggins; his children: Tammy (Mike) McMinn, Bobby Jr. (Nerissa) Wiggins, the late Natalie (Jason) Jackson, and Joanie (Todd) Gamble; his grandchildren: Blake (Brianna) McMinn, Corey McMinn, Shelby (Grant) Hampton, Carrah Lane (Chandler) Church, Colby Jackson, Mason Gamble, Dawson Gamble, Rainie Wiggins, and Canaan Jackson; his great grandchildren: Gage, Remy, and Colt McMinn; his parents: Wanda and the late Edmond (Pete) Wiggins; his siblings: Larry (Rita Hollis) Wiggins, Peggy (David) Lovell, the late Robert Steve Wiggins, the late Roger (Wilma) Wiggins, Carolyn Hayes, and Edmond (Donna) Wiggins; and a host of nieces and nephews.
