Saltillo—Bobby Frank Williams passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, March 7, 2025, at his home in Saltillo. He was 90 years old. Bobby was born in Baldwyn on August 11, 1934, the son of Ernest and Evelyn Hill Williams. On April 27, 1950, this sixteen-year-old married his soul mate, Fay Williams and they enjoyed 63 years together until her passing on their anniversary date in 2014. Many will remember Bobby as the owner of an auto parts store and for his work in real estate. Always active in the Saltillo Community, Bobby served as an alderman and was a dedicated member of Faith Baptist Church. One of his favorite pastimes included watching racing of all kinds, but he was an avid fan of NASCAR. Bobby was devoted to his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves behind his two sons, Ricky Williams and Gary Williams; two grandchildren, Misty Scott and Alex Williams; and two great-grandchildren, Madison and Jaden Scott.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Fay.
Visitation will be 2 until 5 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Pegues, Saltillo.
Services honoring Bobby’s memory will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Saltillo Chapel with Dr. Phil Ellis officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Alex Williams, Don Hinds, Phil Lansdell, D.W. Hopkins, and Brian Carr.
