Dearest Bobbye and I first met when we were teenagers. She was 17 and I was 19 when mutual friend Sarah (Sally) Carver took me into their orbit. Bobbye was showing her American Saddlebred walktrot horse in three gaited horse in juvenile classes and equitation. Sally was her instructer. Special events to remember. Her graduation day from Isaac Litton High School. Her attempt to teach me to canter on a horse. The first time she showed at Worlds Champion Ship Horse Show in Louisville KY. Attending her wedding to Howard. Lived in the same block in Madison TN subdivision starting our families. Rob is about six months older than my daughter Kelly and Kim was born about a month after my daughter Krissy. Howard was still working on his doctorate at Vanderbilt. Following his career we visited them in St. Louis, then in Pennsylvania. In later years we we shared some adult fun on a Caribbean Cruise with Sally and Kathy Barlow. Still remember where we were on 7/7/2017, ridding dogsleds on Taku Glacer in Alaska. Then there was the years of staying with the pets while they took their anniversary vacations. Bobbye also hosted Thanksgiving dinners for friends and family. She was a very special part of my life.
