Bonita Clara Mareska, 91, of Waterloo, passed away Tuesday, January 30, at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center.
She was born March 1, 1932 in Eagle Center, the daughter of John and Irene Weber Bauler. Bonita married Thomas Mareska on June 30, 1953 in Eagle Center. He preceded her in death on January 15, 2017.
She is survived by: two daughters, Vernita (Greg) Hartman and Elaine Billington both of Waterloo; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Mae Hoffa of Waterloo; and a brother, Kenny Bauler of Waterloo.
She is preceded in death by: her husband; a daughter, June Billington; a son-in-law, Pearl Billington; three brothers, Erwin Bauler, Don Bauler, and Johnny Bauler; and two sisters, Gladys Schmitz and Kathleen Fields.
