Bonnie Lee Trunk Bachar went to be with Jesus on Sunday February 1, 2025. Bonnie was born in Wetumka Oklahoma to Paul Alta and Helen Trunk on August 26, 1966. Moving to several places with her dad's construction job, they eventually made their home in rural Osage County outside of Ponca City, Oklahoma where she attended Ponca City schools and graduated in 1984. She met Bret Bachar in 1984 and made a home with him in Ponca City, later moving to Rockford, Ohio. Home was calling their names, so they moved back to Ponca City where they remained.
She loved her bulldogs and owned several. She loved to shine and sparkle wearing jewelry wherever she went and made much of her own. Living just a mile away from Kaw Lake, she and her husband spent a great deal of time on their boat at the lake. She enjoyed cooking, cookouts and entertaining family and friends.
She worked for Mercruiser in Stillwater, Oklahoma for ten years, and later for Walmart for six. She started her own little company, "Toddlers Touch", making light switch handles for children who were not tall enough to reach them.
Bonnie is survived by her mother Helen Trunk, daughter Tiffanie Bachar, son Bret Bachar Jr; sisters Alta DeShields and husband James, Helen "Suzanne" Talbott and husband CB; brother Mark Trunk and wife Holly, aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and very special lifelong friend Nicolle Warner.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her dad Paul Trunk, husband Bret Bachar Sr., and younger sister Paula J. Zimmer.
Cremation is under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Celebration of Life services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Grace Memorial Chapel, 2016 N. 14th Ponca City, OK 74601.
