Bonnie Elizabeth Habowski, age 91 of Sanford, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Plainview Assisted Living in Auburn. She is now at peace in heaven with her late husband and son. She was born on April 23, 1931 in Midland to the late Russell and Lillian (Fick) Roberson. She married Kenneth Habowski at St. Brigid's Catholic Church on August 30, 1952. Her and Kenneth were longtime members of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Sanford. Bonnie was a successful weaving artist and attended shows in many states. She had a special gift for making crafts and decorating. Bonnie enjoyed singing, camping, and became an avid collector of jewelry in her later years.
Surviving are her children, Rebecca (James) McKeith of Coleman, Terri King of Midland; grandchildren, Tyler (Nicole) King and Austin (Rhiannon) King; great grandchildren, Deacon and Bryson King; brother, Robert Roberson and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her son, Jon Habowski.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home from 5pm until the service of celebration her life to be held at 7pm. Her friend and chaplain, Jerry Larkin, will officiate.
