A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2024 in the Riverside Cemetery in Spencer. Arrangements are under the direction of the Robinson Funeral Home in Spirit Lake, IA. Online condolences may be left at www.spiritlakefuneralhome.com
Bonnie Francel Ingvall was born on April 25, 1930, to Jesse R. and Rubie M. (Orvis) Lockey in Spencer, IA. She graduated from Spencer High School in 1948. She was united in marriage to John Ingvall, Jr. on February 10, 1952, at the First Christian Church in Spencer, IA. He preceded her in death on March 10, 2017, in Spencer, IA. Bonnie worked for many years waitressing at Mathison's Restaurant and the Spencer Country Club.
In her free time, she enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and she always looked forward to trying her luck at the casinos.
She is survived by her daughters Jessi (Steven) Long of Superior, IA; and Angela (Gary) Schulz of Sioux Rapids, IA; grandchildren Stacy, Julie, Ben, Ginger, Niki, Todd, Matt, and Toni; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law June Lockey of Milford, IA; and brother-in-law Jerry & Dorothy Ingvall of Spirit Lake, IA; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Bambi Sheley, brothers Bill and Gordon Lockey and her sister Lana Richards.
