My heart dropped a little yesterday when I saw Bonnie's photo and obituary and photo. Bonnie and I were both members of Lebanon Lutheran Church in Minneapolis during our teenage years back in the late 1950´s and early 1960´s. We met at a Luther League Camp in Danbury, Ws. during the spring of 1961. It´s not hard to see why I was immediately smitten! We dated all thru the summer of 1961 until I went into the Army in September of 1961and then wrote letters to each other until the fall of 1962 when she decided that we needed to start dating other people. Too far apart and too long apart. I next saw Bonnie at church in October of 1964 after I was discharged from the Army in September 1964. I had recently got engaged to my beautiful wife and was about headed back to Texas. At that time Bonnie was aspiring to become a nurse and was considering joining the Women´s Army Corps. I´m so glad she didn´t go that route but also so happy that she was in Nursing for so many years.
So many years ago we parted our ways but never to be forgotten.
May our good Lord blesss and keep you forever and ever. Ron
