RICHLAND, NY - Bonnie L. Lehtonen, 68 of Richland, NY passed away on August 7, 2025. Bonnie was born to Bob and Flossie Johnson on August 24, 1956 in Oswego, NY. Bonnie was a graduate of Mexico Academy and Central Schools.
Bonnie worked at the Felix Scholler Mill and Harden Furniture in McConnellsville, NY.
Bonnie loved riding her motorcycle, spending time with the family and watching her grandkids play.
Bonnie is pre-deceased by her parents, Bob and Flossie Johnson; her two sisters Gayle and Kathy and her brother Bill.
Bonnie is survived by Robin (John) Monteith of Pulaski, NY, Barb (Al) Dubois of New Haven, NY, Peg Johnson of North Carolina, John (Becky) Johnson of West Monroe, NY, Bobbie Joe (Bill) Hadcock of Mexico, NY; her daughters, Wendy (Dan) Leighton of South Carolina, Cindy Lehtonen of Redfield, NY; her six grandchildren, Kyle, Ashley, Morgan Leighton, Jamie and Nicki and Cody Washburn; her six great grandchildren, Cayden and Grayson Hardy, Cooper Washburn, Kennedi Washburn and Michael and Brayden Leighton along with several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2025, in the New Haven Rural Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. Mexico, NY.
