Bonnie Marie Martin

Bonnie Marie Martin of Martinsville, Indiana passed away January 11, 2025, at 90 years old. She was born in Leavenworth, Indiana on May 14, 1934, to the late H. Earl and Marie (Bieneke) Carver. Bonnie worked for 52 years as a Clerk, Department Manager and in the Cash Office for Aryway which eventually was purchased by Target. Bonnie enjoyed a very simple life and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Shannon (Denny) Wiggins, her grandchildren, Tammy, Angela, Melissa, April, Brandy, Samatha, Bobby, Jr., Nichole, and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy L. Martin, her 4 sons, David, Ricky, Bob, Rodney Martin, a grandson Rick II, and a great grandson, Blake Sorenson. Visitation for Bonnie will be on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, 11:00am-12:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with the Funeral Service at 12:00pm. She will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery in West Newton, Indiana. The family request memorial gifts be made to the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 230 Martinsville, IN or the American Red Cross for the relief efforts due to the wildfires in California.
