Bonnie Christine Morgan, 86 years of age, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, May 10th.
Bonnie was born August 14, 1937 in Blairsville, Georgia to the late James Patrick & Annie Blalock. She was one of eight children, having four brothers and three sisters. Bonnie married the late Buddy Morgan in March of 1960 in Ringold, Georgia. They were both devout members of Bethlehem Baptist Church of Cumming, Georgia.
She retired from Hansgrohe but was probably better known for her time at Forsyth Industries and Russell Manufacturing where she was doing what she loved most – sewing. She was also a part of the “Worlds Best Coffee Club” where she met so many of her blessed friends.
Bonnie LOVED people and oh did she love all the children. Her best days were spent spending time with friends and family, laughing, traveling, gardening, baking, praying, and giving. She always thought to put others first. She was blessed to have some amazing caregivers in these last few months that she also loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Morgan; parents, Pat & Annie Blalock; sisters, Merdice Jones, LallaMae Lovell; brothers, JP, Richard and Chris Blalock.
Bonnie leaves, to cherish her loving memory, her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry Sutton and Charles Freeman; her granddaughter and husband, Heather Sutton and Matt Devlin; 3 great-grandchildren – Cody, Cole, & Logan Devlin; Sister Jean Sims, Brother WH Blalock, sister-in love Gladys Blalock; brother in-law, Robert Fowler and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends – along with a special friend from the neighborhood, Jackson.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, May 14, 2024 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Carnes, Rev. Tommy Weldy and Rev. Tim Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA.
