Bonnie Gail Russ

On December 10th, 2023 Bonnie Gail Russ (Lang) was called home to the Lord.

She was born on June 27th, 1950 to the late Alice Lang and Adam Lang. 

Bonnie was a very, special woman. She loved God, crafting, her coffee, and most of all her family and friends. Bonnie also, had a love for dogs and grand-dogs, especially her “Abby”. She found her greatest joy in being a mom and wife. In fact, Bonnie and her husband Raymond just came up on their 56th Wedding Anniversary together. Bonnie was also, known as “Mom Mom” by three of her great nieces who she helped raise and knew no different. These great nieces were the grandchildren she never had. Bonnie had such a nurturing, loving way about her that just made you feel right at home no matter who you were.

She is survived by her husband Raymond J. Russ, her children, Steven Russ and his wife Mary, and their children, Shannon and Vicky, great-grandchild, Caitlin. Renee Joiner, and Jamie Talley, her great nieces, Maddy, Riley, and Gabby Walters, her brother, Edward Lang, and her sister Alice Smith.

Mrs. Russ is preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will be held at Delaware Veterans Cemetery in Millsboro on Thursday 12/21 at 11AM.
A reception will be held at the Carlisle Fire Company after interment.
