Bonnie Salyers Obituary
Bonnie graduated from Abington Heights High School. In her younger years she was a waitress at Mt. Airy. After, she worked for many years for Pennsylvania state until her retirement. She was a member of the ladies auxillary at VFW Post 3448. She loved swimming and sunbathing at the community pool and was a proud community watchdog. When she had free time she loved going thrifting and visiting yardsales. The most important thing in her life were her grandchildren.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Rob Caprioli Jr. and his girlfriend, Jackie Walsh, Ryan Caprioli, and Kimberly Bender and her late husband, Randy; grandchildren: Jordan and her husband, Kyle Rinker, Ethan, Abigail, and Amelia; great-grandchildren: Olivia, Henry, and Wesley; sisters: Jackie Allen and her husband, Rick, and Pamela Valvano and her late husband, Frank; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in passing by her brother, Frank Valvano.
A private burial will take place at Fairview Memorial Park. A celebration of life will be announced at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to go thrifting or stop at a yard sale in Bonnie's memory.

Kimberly, Ryan, and Robbie,
I was so saddened to hear about your mother passing away yesterday. She was such a wonderful person, and you could always count on her to listen to what was going on in your life, even with everything she had going on herself.
I always remember the good times camping with our families in those campers, and your mom whistling for us to come home when it got dark or when it was time for dinner. I hope that Bonnie and my mom are having some good laughs up there when they talk.
When I go to see my dad and mom, I will go pay my respects to Bonnie at Fairview.
Your mom was so loved and will be so missed.
