Bonnie Louise Storms

Bonnie L. Storms, age 89, joined her savior in heaven on February 28, 2025. Born April 10, 1935, in Williamsburg, KY to the late Fred and Nannie (nee Lovit) Jones. Loving wife of James Storms. Beloved mother of James Daniel (Veronica) Storms, and Paul Norman (Reba) Storms. Cherished Grandmother of 5 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Dear sister of the late James Jones, and Irene Kirkland. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bonnie and James were servants of God their whole lives. After meeting, they would join many congregations on Sunday until they found their home at First Apostolic Church, under Bishop Leroy Bueller. For thirty years, Bonnie and James made a family out of their church. She helped with the women's ministries, cooking, baking, and setting up for various meals their church family would have. After the church was called to evolve, the Storms came with it. In the last 20 years, Bonnie was a devoted member of Tree of Life Church under Sr. Pastor Joel Urshan, still helping anyway she could.

James and Bonnie have been married for almost 71 years. She had an artist's gift throughout her life, drawing, coloring, and painting any chance she got. When she would get outside, she would take walks in nature and go to flea markets to look for rare items to collect. She had many collections, consisting of mainly miniature dolls and figurines, but also included memorabilia from Campbell Soup and M&M's. Her prized collection, besides her 1 and only husband, was a Victorian cabinet collection of doll figurines she won first prize for at a church show and tell.

But most importantly of all, she loved her family, both in and out of church. Everyone that met her was a friend, and there was always a warm smile when you met her. Her dedication to her family, her church, and her God was something many will miss.

A time for visitation will take place Tuesday, March 4th, 2025, from 11pm to 12pm at Tree of Life Church, 6477 Cooper Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242. Church service to follow at 12pm. Internment will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery, 687A US-50, Milford, OH 45150, following the church service.
