Bonnie Varos Obituary

Bonnie Sue Varos, 72, of Brackenridge, went to a peaceful rest on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, surrounded with love and her family and friend. She was born Feb. 25, 1953, in Natrona Heights to the late Carl and Grace (Mason) Fullerton. Bonnie has lived her entire life in the AK Valley, where she was a teller for Mellon Bank in New Kensington. She was a former member of First Baptist Church, Tarentum and a graduate of Har Brack High School. Bonnie enjoyed motorcycles and sports cars. Her passion for cats showed in every way; she enjoyed dressing up as a cat for Halloween. Survivors include her daughters, Toni Jones and her husband, Kerry Jones, Beth Anne Lawson, and her adopted daughter and caregiver, Brandi Phillips; and adopted son and caregiver, Leo Phillips. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; two bonus grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Varos; grandson, Tomas Baczynski; daughter, Christine Baczynski; and her siblings. A private memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Arrangements by DUSTER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 347 E. 10th Ave., Tarentum, 724-224-1526. VISIT: dusterfuneralhomeinc.com
