Boota Masih, 74, went home to be with the Lord our Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 15th, 2024. He was born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan. He married Gulzar Bibi and had 5 beautiful children. He served the local community as a security guard at a school in Lahore, Pakistan. He served the Lord at the Bethany Church as an Elder and evangelized faithfully. In the year 2016, Masih and his family moved to Syracuse, NY.
Masih led a simple life with humility and humbleness. He loved to be with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He spent most of his time in prayer and worshipping. He raised his children to be vessels for the Lord. His gentle spirit was a gift to everyone around him. His love for Jesus was an example for us all and inspired many in their own personal journey with the Lord.
He is survived by his wife, Gulzar Bibi, children: Zulfiqar (Azra) Boota, Waqar (Anum), Waqas (Fariyal), Stephen (Rimsha), Iftikhar (Farah) Boota, Matthew, Meelakh, Mattanaiah, Farida (Shahzad) Shahzad, Kamilla (Jared), Shaleem, Umaima, Shahzad (Uzma) Boota Bhatti, Shekinah, Sharoona, Shiza, Aaron, and Robin (Annie) Masih
Visitation will be held on Thursday November 21, 2024 from 10-12pm at International Assembly, 4274 LaFayette Road, Jamesville, NY 13078. Services will be held at 12pm at the church.
