MacNabb Funeral Home, P.A. & Metro CrematoryBoyd Franklin Foster Jr, age 86 of Catonsville, Md passed away on Monday September 15, 2025 at UMMS.
Boyd was born January 26, 1939 in Baltimore, Md to the late Boyd Franklin Sr and Virginia (Norman) Foster. He was predeceased by his loving wife Patricia Elaine (Paddy) Foster who died in 2020; and his brother Ronald who died in 2019.
Boyd was a graduate of Catonsville High School. He served in the Air National Guard Reserves. He opened Foster Business Forms in 1987. Boyd enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing and the Orioles. He was actively involved with his daughters in softball & Arbutus majorettes. He was also involved with his grandchildren’s sports and concerts. He looked forward to his Sundays spent going to Baltimore’s Farmer Market, having breakfast at Sam’s Bagels and grocery shopping with his great grandson Leo.
Boyd is survived by his loving daughters Kim Foster of Catonsville and Kelly and son-in-law John Krickbaum of Catonsville; his granddaughter Kristina and husband Chris Pullen of Baltimore; his grandson Jonathan and wife Ashley (Waak) Gallagher of Baltimore; his great grandson Leo Pullen; his brother Robert and wife Debbie (Swiston) Foster of Sykesville and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at MacNabb Funeral Home 301 Frederick Road Catonsville, Md from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm on October 2, 2025 and 11am to 12pm on October 3, 2025, followed by a funeral service at noon. Interment will follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park located at 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, Md 21075.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, or Faith Lutheran Church Eldersburg.
The family would like to thank everyone for their outpouring support and heart felt messages at this time.
